earring frenzy

I wanted to get some stock made for my etsy shop, so I put together 14 pairs of earrings yesterday. Whew! I'll highlight a few pairs over the next few days. Enjoy!

a vintage weekend

I had fun playing in my stash this weekend and dug out a vintage flower pin I had in one of my drawers. I combined it with a litte chain and beads, and I really like the result.

a little vintage fun

I got a pair of sweet vintage earrings at a garage sale recently and decided to add a little funk to them yesterday. I wanted a kind of bohemian, global feel to them. The big center part that kind of looks like a flower is the original earring. Everything else I added on. What do you think?

neutral territory

I have been in a neutrals color mood lately. Usually I'm all about bright colors, but lately I've been drawn to whites, creams, grays and browns. It's being reflected in my jewelry, as you can see from the piece above. I'll be listing this bracelet in my etsy shop this week.

cowboy boot bracelet

I made this bracelet awhile back, and it didn't quite feel finished. That is until I found the coolest cowboy boot charm at one of my local bead shops. Now it feels satisfyingly finished and I can't decide if I want to put it in my etsy shop or keep it for myself!

Another recent creation

I played with my stash over the weekend, and I made several new pieces of jewelry. For this piece I combined a vintage earring with beads and accents, and hung it all from a delicate brass chain. This is in my Etsy shop now...

golden flower pendant

Here is another necklace using Vintage Groove. I LOVE this stuff!! So far none of these are going in my etsy shop because I can't bear to let them go.

summer hike

Yesterday I went with a few friends on a hike to Beacon Rock in Washington State, about 45 minutes drive from Portland. What a ride! The highway runs parallel to the river and all around are breathtaking views of the Gorge area.

The hike is straight up and a little less than a mile long, with amazing views of the valley, river and mountains as you went up. I took photos all the way up, so you could hike with me. Hope you enjoy it!

Summer is finally here!

And with its arrival, a lot of traveling. I just got back from almost two weeks of traveling on the east coast and Arizona.

I have been crafting a bit this weekend, tho and will post pics soon...
